Located in the heart of Georgetown’s historic waterfront, 1050 Potomac Street NW is part of the former Caton’s Walk complex, originally developed in 1980-1981 by respected architect Vlastimil Koubek. The building reflects the area’s transition from 19th-century industrial uses – once home to mills and warehouses – to a more modern, mixed-use neighbourhood.
Designed with Koubek’s signature red brick façade, the property served as an office and retail space for decades. Recently renovated and occupied by TOAST, it sits among a vibrant community that honours Georgetown’s heritage while catering to today’s residents.
TOAST Repair
TOAST Repair is our free mending service that brings new life to your worn TOAST garments. Bring any TOAST clothing item in need of repair to one of our shops and you have the opportunity to spend time with a repair specialist to discuss creative mending options, learning the best approach for extending the lifespan of your garment. To date we have mended more than 4,000 TOAST pieces.
