Japanese Denim Slim Trousers

Size: 4

Our slim trousers are made from organic cotton denim, woven on traditional shuttle looms in Ibara City, Okayama. With a high waist and slim legs, they feature patch pockets, double top stitching and a stitched hem. The denim will soften with wear.

Founded in 1950, Kuroki Mills is one of only a few denim producers with integrated dyeing, weaving and finishing facilities. The water used during the dyeing process is treated to Seto Inland Sea Regulation standards, allowing it to be returned to the river where the water irrigation systems are connected to the vegetable fields and rice paddies of Okayama.

Organic cotton Japanese denim. Slim legs. Patch pockets. Double topstitching. High waist.

The yarns of this cloth have been rope-dyed in indigo and woven on traditional shuttle looms. The mill that dyes and weaves this cloth is located in Okayama, Japan, and was established in 1950. It is considered to be one of the best manufacturers of indigo denim in the world. The indigo is an intense, deep blue and, when new, there will be colour rub. With wash and wear the indigo will fade, its beauty increasing as it ages.

Cotton Care Guide

Cotton is a comfortable, breathable, and easy-care fibre that holds dye well, making it an ideal canvas for vibrant colours and prints. Sourced from the cotton plant's seed pods, its natural and biodegradable properties make it gentler on the environment than other materials. Cotton can be transformed into a range of durable fabrics, including denim, poplin, and twill.

  • Machine wash at 30°C with similar colours.
  • Wash only when necessary to preserve shape, colour, and quality.
  • Reshape while damp by holding the seams and gently shaking the fabric out.
  • Dry flat or hang to reduce creasing.
  • If needed, iron while damp or use steam.
  • Store away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
