Round, ridged spoon rest made by Andrea Roman, a ceramicist based in London. Andrea is drawn to the tactile and versatile nature of clay, creating functional pieces that are characterised by their raw forms.
The colour is mixed directly into the clay body using stains before throwing, rather than being glazed on afterwards. This process creates a rich, saturated depth of colour throughout the entire piece, resulting in a soft matte surface that retains the raw, tactile quality of the clay.

Each ceramic piece has been thrown or pressed and glazed by hand. Due to the handmade nature, there may be pleasing variations and irregularities in colour, size and shape.
