Based on Boonwarrung country on the Mornington Peninsula, just outside Melbourne, Australia, she draws inspiration from the expansive natural landscape around her.

This item is part of our New Makers programme. In its seventh year, five makers demonstrating excellence in skill, originality and craftsmanship have been chosen by a TOAST panel. Finding Pattern
On the coastal Mornington Peninsula, just south of Melbourne, ceramicist Amy Leeworthy creates sculptural vessels rooted in function. Raised in a family of artists, Amy draws on her background in painting and sculpture to shape ceramics that are both expressive and enduring. Her work is inspired by the expansive natural surroundings.
