Bronze ring handmade by Alba founder Jacqueline Dawson in her Suffolk garden workshop, exclusively for TOAST. With an irregular, organic form and round, dotted accents, inspired by folklore and the medieval period. Jacqueline can often be found in her garden studio making paper maquettes or shaping pieces of jewellery directly in wax before they are cast or formed by hand using simple, age-old tools.
Bronze is an affordable and durable material for jewellery that is 100% recyclable. Like silver, the metal can tarnish over time and polished back to its original shine. On occasion, specific skin PH can cause discolouration that can be minimised and avoided by removing the jewellery during exercise or when getting wet. This is more prevalent on styles like rings worn closer to the skin.
