Hand embroidery, tasselled ties, rouleau loops, knotted buttons and pom pom trims…

Cotton Khadi Embroidered Dress

Lightweight cotton khadi dress with v-neck opening, tasselled ties and pintucks into back collar. The sleeves are full and gathered at the cuffs.

The fabric for this dress is cotton khadi which, being hand woven and hand spun, possess slight irregularities and subtle variations in colour. The hand embroidery is carried out by skilled craftsmen in India and thus varies slightly between each garment. The kaftan neckline can be worn open or fastened with long tasselled ties.

The fabric for this jacket – a deep, intense indigo blue – has been rope dyed in Japan by a mill who we have worked with closely over the years.

Double Indigo Twill Jacket

Soft, supple jacket in Japanese dyed and woven cotton twill double cloth - deep indigo outer, chambray within. Mandarin collar with rouleau loops and buttons to fasten. Patch pockets.
