Cerren Weiner is TOAST's Head of Visual Merchandising. She divides her time between the TOAST studio in Islington and travelling to all eleven stores, overseeing window and instore creative concepts. Here, Cerren is pictured in our TOAST Notting Hill shop wearing her favourite piece from the Late Summer collection, the Stripe Gathered Waist Dress...
The best part of your job…
No two days are the same. Last week I was individually selecting a tonne of flint for our current window concept, inspired by Jacquetta Hawkes book A Land, this week I'm sourcing shepherd crooks for September's 'Earth & Hearth' inspired window and decorating the TOAST studio with ivy, amongst lots of other things.
Your most loved TOAST item?
An emerald green pair of corduroy trousers from AW14… They are a classic fit and won’t go out of style.
Something you couldn't work without?
My team, store staff and colleagues. Without their support I wouldn’t be able to do my daily work.
Your favourite past-time outside of work?
I enjoy upholstery and looking for antique furniture - 1960's Danish is my favourite. At the moment I am upholstering a 1940's British chair and an ottoman (which I made from scratch).
Your favourite place…
I love Antwerp. The Momu exhibitions are always inspiring, there is an abundance of vintage furniture shops and the food is exceptional. My favourite restaurant is Fiskebar.
The last book you read…
To Kill A Mockingbird.
