My favourite piece from the new OAS collection has to be the cotton twill olive shirt. So soft to touch, but boldly holding its own shape, its durability is plain to see – this is a shirt that will be with me for years to come, I can see it earning its place in my wardrobe no problem.
Its simple, classic style – neat collar, patch pocket and mother of pearl buttons – make it enough of a statement piece for a basics lover like me, and really only needs a pair of straight jeans to go with. The curved hem is perfect and I’ll be wearing it half-untucked and unbuttoned almost midway with a couple of layered chains.
TOAST has always appealed to me for its beautifully crafted pieces – clothes and homeware – and its dedication to a cultured, considered life well lived. I love the whole concept of the new Ordinary Attire Studio range; its wearable workwear and utility roots have a bit more of an edge than classic Toast pieces and feel ideal for workdays and travelling.
This shirt will definitely be coming with me on my trip to Athens next month, just the thing for sightseeing and getting camera happy among ancient ruins and the Acropolis.
